Mauve Eyeshadow Look

Hi guys! I'm finally posting a new eyeshadow look! This was inspired by the nail look I did for Valentine's which used mauve tones.
I used the Laura Mercier Artist's Palette to achieve the mauve look, along with the Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Vape, Tattoo Liner in Trooper, They're Real Mascara, Decadent Lashes in Celine, and of course, Eyeshadow Primer Potion.
I used Real Techniques and E.L.F brushes. From left to right: deluxe crease brush, base shadow brush, contour brush, smudge brudge, accent brush.
I've already primed my lids, filled my brows (I used Benefit Cosmetics Ka-Brow), and dusted my lids with Vanilla Nuts using the deluxe crease brush.
I then applied Fresco on the outer V and crease as a transition shade, using the deluxe crease brush.
Using the base shadow brush, I darkened the outer V with Truffle.
I used concealer to define the crease so that I have a blank slate to put my shimmery shade. I used e.l.f. smudge brush since that is the flattest eyeshadow brush I own.
Using the same smudge brush, I applied African Violet on the centre and inner part of the lids to add that shimmery mauve color, similar to Nails Inc Holler-Graphic in Ghetto Galactic which I used for my accent/ring nail.
I didn't think the shimmer was enough so I added Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Vape to my lids, still using the same brush, and on my inner corner using Real Techniques accent brush.

I added a little purple tone to my crease using Violet Ink, because it was coming off too brown. Then lastly, I applied eyeliner, mascara and falsies.
So this is the final look! Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog!
I hope I get to post another eyeshadow look soon, instead of taking months. This is what happens when you're cursed with laziness. đŸ˜… Let me know what kind of look you want me to see do next in the comments!

Kat Von D Saint and Sinner Perfumes Review

#SaintandSinner
#TheResurrectionIsReal

Disclaimer: These perfumes are complimentary from Influenster for reviewing purposes.

These two perfumes are relaunch (or resurrected lol) from the same named perfumes from 2009, which was a long time ago! I didn't even know she had perfumes! The packaging, as always, is gorgeous! I wasn't expecting these to be sent as they were no surveys that I took about perfumes. I was walking home from work when my sister sent me pictures of it that got me really excited since I haven't received a Kat Von D product from Influenster before.

Both bottles are 0.17oz/5mL which is a very decent size to sample, if not more than enough. I don't always wear perfume and I wear it minimally, so these will last me a while! The bottles didn't have the intricate design as the full bottles but these are still really beautiful to display.
First, there is Saint which is described on the Sephora website as"soft, alluring, and dreamy, this gourmand fragrance sweetens a bouquet of jasmine and tiarĂ© flower with notes of mandarin, caramel, and sparkling Mirabelle plum. Vanilla, sandalwood, and creamy musk build to the romance of the perfume". It is mainly sweet and floral, especially when I first sniff it from the bottle. But I feel like as the day goes on, it shows this little bit of muskyness, maybe from reacting with my natural body chemistry. It is a very feminine fragrance. My boyfriend said that it's a little bit mature. Maybe it's because of the Vanilla, which I'm not a huge fan of when it's a scent. But good thing it's floral enough for me to like!
Then we have Sinner which is like Saint's emo sister. They smell very similar to each other but Sinner has an edge to it. I think it has more vanilla, spice and musk. On Sephora's website, it's described as "dark, sultry, and empowering, this enticing fragrance sweetens a bouquet of jasmine and orange blossom with notes of vanilla, mandarin, and Mirabelle plum. Spicy cinnamon envelops white florals at the heart of the fragrance, while base notes of vetiver, patchouli, and wood form the deeper, darker nuances". I think this is more a unisex fragrance, so guys can wear it, too! I prefer Saint more, but I'd wear this when I'm feeling fierce!

On Sephora, it is sold as a travel or full sized spray ranging from $30 - to $115 CAD.

Natural Winter Makeup Look

I recently bought #11 Kiss Lashes and I want to test it out so here's a look that I did with it! I really like how fluttery and wispy it looks. It has a criss-cross effect for a natural effect. It just adds a little bit of oomph for your lashes without being extra glam. I bought the multi-pack from Walmart for $13.99CAD.

Kat Von D Limited Edition Studded Kiss Lipstick Review

Kat Von D Limited Edition Gunmetal Studded Kiss Lipstick
(Holiday 2016 Kiss Collection) Review
in Lolita II

As soon as I saw this on @katvondbeauty's Instagram, I knew I had to get it. Initially, I bought it for the packaging but I have fallen in love with the colour and I have been wearing it all the time!
The iconic black studded casing now comes in a silver metallic finish. It comes in three colours: Lolita II, Double Dare, and Mother. Lolita II is a peachy light terracotta nude, Double Dare is described as a cocoa blush, and Mother is described as a dusty mauve pink.
If you own these colours in the Everlasting Liquid Lipstick formula, however, the colour will not exactly match. In this stick formula, the colours tend to be not as highly impactful. They will look like more of a dusty version of the liquid ones. But, the colours will be opaque on your lips in one swipe. All three colour are demi-matte finish.

I got the colour Lolita II because I have been looking for a warm nude, and this is just the perfect colour! It's also not drying and feels very comfortable on the lips. The product will have faded in about 4 hours, which is usual for stick formula lipsticks, but it will fade away very evenly. It's easy to re-apply. It also will not leave a stain on your lips.
It started to fade a bit in 2 hours.
It retails for $17 USD or $24 CAD and is available at Sephora in-store, sephora.com or katvondbeauty.com while quantities last.
